• INGO Staffing Dashboard – 2018

    The information in this dashboard is accurate as of October 2018. It summarises the staffing details of national and international staff within INGOs. National staff make up 94% of the total 5,233 staff from 32 INGOs operating in Nigeria. In the north-east, there is a slightly higher concentration of internationals in Maiduguri (8%), less in Damaturu (3%) and none in Yola. 15 NIF members nationalised 84 expatriate positions which are now fully occupied by national staff.   • INGO Humanitarian Dashboard on Northeast Nigeria – 2017

    In 2017, over 4 million people received humanitarian and recovery assistance from 18 INGOs across 50 LGAs in north-east states of Borno, Adamawa and Yobe. WASH has the highest reach of all the nine listed sectors, with two INGOs involved in recovery initiatives (livelihood, mine risk education and peace building). National staff made up 91% of the total 1,307 staff of ten INGOs working in the north-east response. Download Dashboard

  • INGO Humanitarian Dashboard on Northeast Nigeria – Quarter 1, 2018

    With the north-east Nigeria conflict continuing into its ninth year, more than 7.7 million are in dire need of humanitarian relief and recovery assistance. In the first quarter of 2018, 26 INGOs provided assistance to 2.5 million people across 51 LGAs in the three most affected states of Borno, Adamawa and Yobe. About 2.1 million people received assistance in Food Security in order to help mitigate impact of the projected food and nutrition crisis (Cadre Harmonise phases 3 to 5) during the lean season on about 3.7 million people. Based on staffing information from 12 INGOs, 9 out of 10 staff working in the north-east response are Nigerian. Download Dashboard
