North-east Nigeria: An overlooked protection crisis

Now in its 10th year, the crisis in north-east Nigeria is first and foremost a Protection Crisis. The rapidly deteriorating situation in the region due to ongoing armed hostilities has continued to exposed civilians to different dangers, including sexual harassment, exploitation and abuse. Since November 2018, over 104,000 people have arrived overcrowded camps and are forced to live under open skies.
